About the Role
This position supports the CDPH's mission and strategic plan by supervising administrative functions within the Facilities Management Services (FMS) division. Key responsibilities include overseeing budgets, procurement processes, and personnel management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor the FMS budget and fiscal reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with departmental requirements.
- Supervise personnel functions, including recruitment, hiring, and serving as a liaison to the Human Resources Division.
- Perform a wide range of complex, analytical, and technical assignments essential to FMS operations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field, combined with at least three years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support, preferably in a government setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with budget management and personnel administration are required.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.

Benefits
The position is subject to the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025, which temporarily reduces monthly base pay in exchange for paid leave credits. The salary range for this position is $7,172.00 - $8,910.00, with a potential 3% salary reduction due to PLP 2025.
