Supervisor, HIM Coding

This is 100% remote position. CHLA requires a primary residence in California prior to start date.** Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift Purpose Statement/Position Summary: In conjunction with the Manager, HIM Coding & CDI, the HIM Coding Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of the HIM Coders to meet or exceed the DNFB Goals for the HIM Department. May perform management responsibilities in the absence of the Manager. Required Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 3+ years with lead or supervisory experience. Preferred Large acute care hospital experience. Education/Licensure/Certifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent.Credentialed Coding Specialist (CCS).Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Accredited Health Information Technician (RHIT).
