Supervisor Food Services

About the role

The Supervisor of Food Services will direct employees in meal preparation and service to department customers, focusing on quality, sanitation, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and clean kitchen equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Associate degree in Food Service Management, Dietetics, Culinary Arts, or similar field preferred
• Three to five years’ experience in food service required

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate and provide examples of continuous personal development and improvement
• Knowledge of and ability to perform daily functions of food service operations
• Technical skills to operate and clean equipment, prepare food, procure and serve meals, ensure sanitation and safety, including HACCP
• Knowledge of C-BORD system
• Basic HR functions, scheduling, timecard management, hiring, QIP basics, education and training, adult learners, special needs groups, computer applications, access and basic skills, analyzing data to develop reports
