This advanced building brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU, epilepsy monitoring, and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep, and rehabilitation services. Responsibilities

  • Supervise the functions, daily operations, and caregivers in the Environmental Services department.
  • Provide effective utilization of personnel, policies, and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment.
  • Continuously inspect assigned areas to ensure high-quality cleaning and maintenance is being performed.
  • Maintain staffing levels and approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests.
  • Ensure cross coverage.
  • Coordinate and provide orientation, education, and training.
  • Improve procedures and processes.
  • Analyze workflow and procedures and identify and implement opportunities to improve speed, quality, and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and two years of experience as a Work Leader, Team Lead, Project Manager, or one year of supervisory experience.
  • Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Environmental services or housekeeping experience.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • Ability to perform duties while walking, standing, stooping, and lifting.

Personal Protective Equipment

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Schedule

Days: 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation requirement.

Pay

Minimum Annual Salary: $43,200.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $65,880.00

A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
