Supervisor, Custodial & Cleaning

About the role

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the implementation and administration of the sanitation program. This position is also responsible for training and supervising sanitation personnel.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises employees in the Sanitation Department
• Responsible for supervising all facets of the cleaning and sanitation process for the entire processing plant efficiently and within budgetary constraints
• Keeps manager informed on operation activities, employee activities, quality, safety and cost controls
• Keeps accurate and up-to-date records
• Encourages suggestions from employees which will improve production, quality, safety, and/or cost controls of production
• Provides complete training of all employees for proper sanitation procedure and safety procedures
• Solves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED - Required
• Experience: 3 years or more in Sanitization, Engineering, Waste Management, or related field
• Specialized Knowledge: Working in a GMP environment preferred

Additional Requirements

• This position requires successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test

Pay

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $87,000 per year.

1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday
