About the role
This is a full-time, on-site role based in North Port, FL, responsible for performing and overseeing construction and commercial cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
- Detailed restroom and break area cleaning
- Ensuring all surfaces are free of construction debris
- Inspecting work areas for quality
- Coordinating tasks with other team members
- Communicating work progress to management or clients
- Assigning duties and monitoring performance
- Reinforcing health and safety procedures on-site
Requirements
- Demonstrated supervisory skills, including task delegation, workload coordination, and guiding team members in daily cleaning activities
- Experience with commercial cleaning, particularly post-construction cleanup, surface care, and use of appropriate cleaning tools and products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with team members, site supervisors, and clients
- Solid understanding of health & safety practices, including use of personal protective equipment and compliance with site safety protocols
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry equipment or materials as required by cleaning tasks
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality cleaning results
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in and around North Port, FL
Previous experience in construction cleaning or commercial janitorial work is preferred but not required.
