Cleaning Supervisor/Account Coordinator

About the role
This position involves training employees on janitorial and administrative tasks, covering accounts as needed, delivering supplies, and being on-call for emergencies during evenings and weekends. You will screen new custodial technicians, work with managers to schedule staff, manage employee callouts, correspond with custodial technicians, report accidents or injuries, and address employee performance issues through retraining or other resolutions.
Responsibilities
- Train employees on janitorial and administrative tasks
- Replace custodial technicians or cover accounts as needed
- Submit and deliver supplies
- Be on-call for emergency situations during evenings and weekends
- Screen new custodial technicians
- Work with managers to schedule staff and ensure coverage
- Manage employee callouts
- Correspond with custodial technicians
- Report accidents or injuries
- Address and resolve employee performance issues, including retraining
- Perform all other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- Experience with the commercial cleaning industry is a plus
- Must speak fluent English and Spanish
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- Results-oriented with the ability to resolve challenges and emergencies at short notice
- Valid driver’s license (a company car will be assigned)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
