Supervisor Clinic
About the role
The Clinic Supervisor oversees and evaluates the daily activities of assigned patient access and/or clinical staff, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with established objectives and regulations.
Key responsibilities include supervising staff (hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating), managing patient access and/or clinical office services, serving as a critical liaison between departments, troubleshooting issues, and identifying opportunities for operational streamlining.
To be successful, the Supervisor must demonstrate expertise in supervising support staff, possess strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, and apply critical thinking to operational challenges, contributing to major business decisions with higher-level management.
Responsibilities
- Schedules, supervises and evaluates the work of assigned staff in accordance with established procedures
- Acts as first line of escalation for all patients and assigned staff to resolve patient relations matters in a timely and courteous manner
- Supervises the daily operations of assigned support functions to ensure that all activities are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner and in accordance with professional standards, budget constraints, internal policies/standards/procedures and/or applicable legal/regulatory requirements
- Ensures patient information is entered and updated in appropriate systems and are accurately maintained in accordance with clinic policies and procedures
- Identifies opportunities to streamline current operations and implement approved procedural changes
- Oversees the scheduling of depositions/conferences with providers/attorneys billing for services
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree upon hire and one (1) year related work experience OR
- Three (3) years work experience

Pay
The posted compensation range is $33.85 - $55.86 / hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Schedule
The schedule is Monday - Friday (7:30 AM to 4 PM).
Shift
The shift is Day.
Travel
No travel is required.
