About the role
We are seeking a Supervisor for our Telemetry Unit at Mission Health. This position ensures high-quality, efficient care for all patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide system oversight and daily coordination of CMU processes including telemetry monitoring and Cemer Patient Observer (CPO).
- Serve as a liaison for all system affiliates to facilitate quality assurance, training, and education.
- Oversee daily operations by ensuring adequate staffing, providing clinical support, and maintaining accreditation readiness.
- Supervise Monitor Technician II's to ensure timely customer service and exercise supervisor responsibilities through independent problem solving and collaboration with departmental leaders.
- Other duties as assigned by departmental leaders.
Qualifications
- Essential Accountabilities:
- Manage and coordinate daily operations and staffing to assure timely patient care.
- Evaluation of personnel in current monitoring practices to ensure standardized compliance.
- Train and oversee personnel in use of telemetry and CPO programs, HIPAA requirements, policies and procedures.
- Assure adequate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
- Assist in the implementation, monitoring and enforcement of policies, procedures and processes.
- Annual performance review of assigned staff.
- Completing weekly check-ins, quarterly performance pulses, engagement pulses, and talent conversations.
- Provide on-going training and policy review.
- Participate in interviewing and hiring process and make recommendations on hiring decisions.
- Participate in proactive problem solving in regards to current practice, multidisciplinary interaction, and patient service issues.
- Oversee Quality assurance and accreditation readiness.
- Work with multidisciplinary team to evaluate effectiveness of current and future telemetry and CPO processes.
- Maintain monitoring and CPO response times, call logs, and patient outcomes.
- Participate with system affiliates as a liaison for Telemetry and CPO related processes.
- New equipment conversion or system go-lives.
- Standardized education and training.
- Equipment evaluation and testing.
- Assistance with quality assurance measures.
