SUPERICA EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF – UP TO $85K/yr. + BONUS (Battery Park)

About the role

Superica at the Battery is seeking an Executive Sous Chef who is ready to step up to the plate!

Responsibilities

• Directly oversees the day-to-day operations of all areas of the kitchen including production/prep, private parties and special events, stewarding, purchasing and receiving
• Ensures the culinary staff is able to create all menu items to the highest standards
• Effectively and professionally runs the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef
• Successfully manages a culinary budget and aggressively monitors labor, scheduling and overtime to ensure maximum productivity and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Ability to work calmly under pressure
• Ability to lead a cohesive team
• 5-years of progressive culinary experience preferred, two of which in a Sous Chef capacity

Pay

Competitive salary: $70,000 – $85,000/yr. DOE + generous quarterly bonus program
