About the role
Imagine spending time in some of Michigan's most beautiful destinations. These part- and full-time summer positions are perfect for those laying the foundation for a career in natural resources, keeping busy in retirement and/or wanting to spend their summer in Michigan state parks, boating facilities, state forest campgrounds and other outdoor spaces. Responsibilities
- Answer visitor questions
- Register campers
- Clean park buildings
- Mow grass
- Maintain trails

Requirements
You'll have the opportunity to shape the customer experience all while learning valuable skills and working as part of a team.
Qualifications
- No specific education level required
- No specific work experience required
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Some positions may require certification or registration as a pesticide applicator
Skills
Frontline staff member skills are needed to perform the duties listed above.
Benefits
- Flexible scheduling (up to 1,040 hours between April and October 2026)

Starting hourly rate: $15.50 (starting January 4, 2026).

Additional Requirements and Information
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Some positions in this class may be assigned duties that require the application of pesticides, which may require certification or registration as a pesticide applicator in compliance with the Pesticide Control Act of 1976
