Substitute (SUB) Direct Support Professional/Caregiver

About the role

St. Coletta of Wisconsin is seeking Substitute/Pool Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work in various locations including Jefferson, Waukesha, and Brookfield, Wisconsin. These professionals will cross-train between areas to provide support for adults with developmental disabilities, teaching recreational activities, assisting with daily living tasks, and supporting community integration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach recreational activities
• Provide personal care services
• Support community integration
• Transport clients
• Complete and maintain accurate reports
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Make sound decisions in challenging situations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to perform job duties
