Substitute (SUB) Direct Support Professional/Caregiver
About the role
St Coletta of Wisconsin is seeking Substitute/Pool Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to cross-train between areas to provide support for adults with developmental disabilities. Key responsibilities include planning and teaching recreational activities, providing personal care, supporting community integration, and performing other duties such as transportation and report completion.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach recreational activities
- Provide personal care and support for activities of daily living
- Support community integration for adults with developmental disabilities
- Perform other duties including transporting clients, completing and maintaining accurate reports, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Make sound decisions while handling challenging situations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a driving record meeting the organization's standards
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

Qualifications
- Knowledge of developmental disabilities
- Physical demands include standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, smelling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Work environment includes occasional exposure to outside weather conditions and moderate noise levels
