Substitute (SUB) Direct Support Professional/Caregiver
About the role
St Coletta of Wisconsin is seeking Substitute/Pool Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work in various locations including Jefferson, Waukesha, and Brookfield, Wisconsin. As a DSP, you will cross-train between areas to be a versatile worker, planning and teaching recreational activities, providing personal care, and supporting community integration for adults with developmental disabilities. You will also perform other duties such as transporting clients, completing and maintaining accurate reports, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach recreational activities
- Provide personal care and support for activities of daily living
- Support community integration for adults with developmental disabilities

- Make sound decisions while handling challenging situations
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a driving record meeting the organization's standards
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Knowledge of developmental disabilities
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, reaching, and bending

Pay
Estimated annual salaries range from $35,598 to $39,650, depending on location.
