Substitute (SUB) Direct Support Professional/Caregiver

About the role

The Sub (Substitute/Pool) Direct Support Professional (DSP) position at St. Coletta of Wisconsin involves cross-training between areas to provide support for adults with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include planning and teaching recreational activities, providing personal care, supporting community integration, transporting clients, completing and maintaining accurate reports, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Training is provided to ensure certification as a CBRF certified DSP.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach recreational activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a driving record meeting the organization's standards
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

• Physical demands include standing, walking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional climbing and balancing
• Work environment includes occasional exposure to outside weather conditions and moderate noise levels
