Substitute Dispatcher at Transportation Department.
Requirements
- High school graduation or its equivalent
- Three years experience as a bus driver and/or transportation dispatcher
- Knowledge of operation of a school bus; California Vehicle Code; regulations and laws pertaining to pupil transportation in California
- Ability to communicate effectively; act calmly and sensibly in stressful situations; react appropriately in emergencies; understand and follow oral and written instructions; establish and maintain cooperative relationships; use good judgment; read maps, route sheets and bus schedules
- Possess appropriate California Drivers License Class A or Class B with air brake endorsement
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Pay
- $30.52 hourly rate
