Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch technicians to appropriate locations
- Determine types or amounts of equipment, materials, or personnel required
- Coordinate with Field Supervisor and accounting manager for needed supplies
- Analyze information from service requests and evaluate the results
- Resolve customer complaints or answer customers' questions
- Prepare and review daily work orders for correctness
- Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and follow up calls
- Keep customers and technicians aware of status of orders and scheduling changes
- Perform clerical duties for the service department
Qualifications
- 2+ years of dispatch experience in the plumbing industry
- Knowledge of plumbing acumen, parts, components, and accessories functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- 5+ years of dispatcher experience as a technician or technical support in the plumbing industry
- PREFERRED: Sales experience in the plumbing industry
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Sufficient visual acuity to read printed and digital documents
