Summary Description

This position is responsible for the professional instruction designed to provide academic, social, physical, and skills development for students in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them to be successful citizens and workers in the 21st century.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and endorsement in the grade/subject taught
• A valid Tennessee certificate
• To be highly qualified
• To be governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Tennessee Code Annotated and the collective bargaining agreement
• To be physically and mentally able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position

Qualifications

• Years of experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree: 4 years
• Years of experience equivalent to a Master’s Degree: 2 years
