About the role

The role involves engaging with patients through individual, group, and family counseling, working with a multidisciplinary team to meet clinical needs, and providing comprehensive treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Engage with patients for intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
- Create and update individual and group treatment plans.
- Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
- Educate patients about treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
- Administer Urine Drug Screens and verify patient identification.
- Act in the best interests of the program and company, respecting proprietary data and rights.
Requirements
- Education/Licensure/Certification: Refer to state-specific requirements.
- Experience in substance abuse field preferred, but not required.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of substance abuse disorders and treatment methods.
- Compliance with regulatory standards and confidentiality protocols.
