The Role
Drive Studio Performance: Monitor memberships, class utilization, and retail performance while supporting revenue growth and managing labor costs.
Lead the Team: Hire, train, and manage Studio Representatives, Shift Managers, and instructors while setting clear expectations and maintaining team accountability.
Manage Operations: Oversee instructor and staff scheduling, payroll coordination, and daily studio operations to ensure a smooth and consistent experience.
Maintain Studio Standards: Ensure the studio environment reflects New York Pilates’ brand standards while resolving student issues professionally.
Build Community: Foster a welcoming studio culture that supports both team performance and a strong student community.
Requirements
- 4–8+ years of management experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or another service-driven environment
- Experience managing teams of 15+ employees and owning daily operational performance, including staffing, scheduling, and studio results
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong organizational and operational management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solutions-oriented with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Full-time availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
