Student Supervisor- Part-time

Part-time position, 4 hours per day from 2 PM to 6 PM.

About the role

The Student Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly environment by monitoring student behavior and movement throughout the school. This role reports directly to the Assistant Principal.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student behavior and movement in hallways, cafeterias, and locker rooms
• Check entrances and exits regularly
• Inspect bathrooms before school, after school, and hourly during the school day
• Direct visitors entering the school
• Escort students from class as requested by administrators
• Assist in directing students during fire alarms and lockdowns
• Perform additional duties assigned by administrators in designated areas, including halls, common areas, cafeteria, washrooms, locker rooms, outside areas, and parking lots

• Ability to use discretion and good judgment
• Ability to be fair, friendly, and consistent
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with students and staff
• Knowledge and willingness to enforce school rules and regulations
• Ability to react constructively to unique and emergency situations

Pay

Salary is determined by the Support Staff Contract Salary Schedules.

Schedule

10-month position following the school year calendar.
