Part Time - Student Services Coordinator

About the role

The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for providing guidance and support to our international students throughout their time at KI. This position does not guarantee hours.

Responsibilities

• Designated School Official (DSO); responsible for updating SEVIS and advising students on all matters related to their immigration status while studying at KI
• Assist in keeping the school compliant with state, national, and organizational standards of compliance
• Advise new and current students on KI courses and products; collect lead information and participate in conversion efforts
• Domestic marketing activities, including community outreach events and activities, phone calls, etc.
• Plan and/or execute daily, weekly, monthly activities; create monthly activities calendar
• Housing options recruitment and procurement and student placement
• Deliver outstanding hands-on student service
• Liaise with national Customer Service team to follow policies related to course adjustments, including adherence to Quote Request (QRF) and Change Form (CF) processes
• Cash management: book deposits, payments, etc
• Internship recruitment and placement
• University admissions guidance and counseling
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (mandatory for DSO)
• 1-2+ years in a business or operational setting
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications

• Prior experience with international students and/or advising
• Experience with database systems
• One or more foreign language ability

Benefits

Compensation for specific positions is based on job level, skills, years of experience, and education, among other factors. Additionally, certain positions are bonus or commission eligible.

Pay

$15 per hour or $31,200 per year for full-time positions.
