Job Responsibilities
- Monitor student behavior and movement in hallways, cafeterias and locker rooms
- Check entrances and exits regularly
- Check bathrooms before school, after school and each hour during the school day
- Help direct visitors entering the school
- Escort students from their class as requested by Administrators
- Help direct students during fire alarms and lock downs
- Perform such duties assigned by the Administrator in designed areas: hall locations, common areas, cafeteria, washrooms, locker rooms, outside areas and parking lots
Supervision
The Student Supervisors are under the supervision of the Assistant Principal.
Terms of Employment
- 10-month term
- Salary and benefits to be established by the agreement between the Board of Education and the United Support Staff Council
