About the Role
The Shift Supervisor leads restaurant operations during shifts, supporting training, ensuring standards are met, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. They serve as a key team leader, providing guidance, feedback, and modeling the company’s purpose in all interactions. The role involves overseeing daily tasks such as deployment, training new team members, maintaining equipment and systems, managing cash, and ensuring food safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow and guest satisfaction.
- Train new hires and support program rollouts.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to company standards.
- Manage deployment, inventory, cash handling, and equipment maintenance.
- Address guest and team concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
- Follow checklists and communicate effectively with the team.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to follow processes, enforce standards, and coach compassionately.
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Must obtain food safety (and alcohol if required) certification within 30 days.
- Support a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours weekly, including peak times.
