STUDENT ATHLETE ADVISOR III

About the role

To provide advising for student-athletes counseling and advising on major and career planning, and to maintain accurate and timely information on academic progress.

Responsibilities

• Act as advisor for the school or unit and provides training to other Student-Athlete Advisors.
• Affiliate with all student-athletes, coaches and faculty.
• Assist in coordinating student-athlete orientation and to perform eligibility evaluations.
• Serve on campus committees and complete projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required.

Qualifications

• Work experience may not substitute for education requirements.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
