About the Role

Responsible for plant set-up, maintenance, and repairs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fully competent in all aspects of fabrication and assembly of major asphalt equipment with minimal supervision.
• Experienced in plant assembly and operation specifications.
• Build A/C Piping and Hot Oil Piping.
• Work at heights and read set-up prints to lay out a jobsite.
• Read and comprehend set-up drawings and subassembly drawings.
• Apply rigging and crane knowledge.
• Perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions, including climbing with fall protection, standing for long periods, and exposure to extreme elements.
• Follow company policies, safety rules, and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• 2+ years of related experience required.
• Welding experience required.
• Ability to work in high situations without physical or mental limitations.
• Ability to read and comprehend set-up drawings and subassembly drawings.
• Team player with strong customer service skills for interactions on/off the jobsite.
• Must be able to travel (100% travel, regional and international).

Work Environment

Shop manufacturing environment with exposures to:

• Moving mechanical parts, machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Vibration, fumes, airborne particles, and motorized vehicles.
• Welding and machining operations.
• Outside weather conditions and risk of electric shock.
• Varying levels of dirt, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperatures.
• Loud noise levels requiring hearing protection.
