About the role

A Structural Steel Tekla Detailer is needed to design and detail structural steel components using Tekla software. The role involves creating detailed drawings and models, coordinating with engineers and fabricators, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings and models using Tekla software
• Coordinate with engineers and fabricators to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and client specifications
• Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in structural steel detailing
• Familiarity with Tekla Structures software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Knowledge of structural steel design principles and practices
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
