Responsibilities
As a valued member of our engineering team, you will:
- Support the analysis, design, and evaluation of critical structures and components while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate proposed modifications and prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications.
- Communicate findings to project teams, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure smooth coordination and integration of designs.
- Lead design initiatives by developing innovative design studies, crafting project scopes, and producing accurate engineering estimates.
- Innovate solutions to tackle complex technical challenges with creative problem-solving strategies.
- Engage in field operations, including travel for site walkdowns, field installations, and system start-ups.
- Inspire teams by leading with a positive, results-driven attitude.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience designing structural systems, including concrete and steel.
- Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects, either directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm.
- Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Due to Federal Contract Requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Pay
Compensation range: USD $90,000 – USD $180,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
