Responsibilities
As a valued member of our engineering team, you'll take on meaningful challenges that directly impact the safety, reliability, and performance of our clients' facilities. You'll support the analysis, design, and evaluation of critical structures and components while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate proposed modifications, prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications, and communicate findings to project teams, clients, and other key stakeholders
- Collaborate across disciplines with professionals from various engineering fields to ensure smooth coordination and integration of designs
- Lead design initiatives by developing innovative design studies, crafting comprehensive project scopes, and producing accurate engineering estimates
- Innovate solutions by tackling complex technical challenges with fresh ideas and creative problem-solving strategies
- Engage in field operations, including travel, site walkdowns, oversight of field installations, and support for system start-ups
- Inspire teams by leading with a positive, results-driven attitude and effective leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of structural systems including concrete and steel
- Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm
- Good writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Due to Federal Contract Requirements, US Citizenship is required
Pay
Compensation range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
