Responsibilities

  • Support analysis, design, and evaluation of critical structures and components, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate proposed modifications and prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications.
  • Communicate findings to project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across disciplines with professionals from various engineering fields.
  • Lead design initiatives, develop innovative design studies, and produce accurate engineering estimates.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges with creative problem-solving strategies.
  • Participate in site walkdowns, field installations, and system start-ups.
  • Lead and motivate teams with a positive, results-driven attitude.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience designing structural systems, including concrete and steel.
  • Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects, either directly or through an engineering/design consulting firm.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Due to Federal Contract Requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

Pay

Compensation range: USD $90,000 – $180,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. Some roles may be performed remotely in one or more U.S. states.
