Responsibilities
As a valued member of our engineering team, you'll take on meaningful challenges impacting the safety, reliability, and performance of our clients' facilities. You'll support the analysis, design, and evaluation of critical structures and components while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate proposed modifications and prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications
- Communicate findings to project teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Collaborate across disciplines with professionals from various engineering fields
- Lead design initiatives, develop innovative design studies, and craft project scopes
- Produce accurate engineering estimates
- Tackle complex technical challenges with creative problem-solving strategies
- Participate in field operations, including travel, site walkdowns, field installations, and system start-ups
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of structural systems including concrete and steel
- Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects, either directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm
- Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- US Citizenship due to Federal Contract Requirements
Pay
Compensation range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
