Responsibilities
As a valued member of our engineering team, you'll take on meaningful challenges that directly impact the safety, reliability, and performance of our clients' facilities. You'll support the analysis, design, and evaluation of critical structures and components while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate proposed modifications, prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications, and communicate findings to project teams, clients, and other key stakeholders
- Collaborate across disciplines: Work seamlessly with professionals from various engineering fields, ensuring smooth coordination and integration of designs
- Lead design initiatives: Develop innovative design studies, craft comprehensive project scopes, and produce accurate engineering estimates
- Innovate solutions: Tackle complex technical challenges with fresh ideas and creative problem-solving strategies
- Engage in field operations: Travel for site walkdowns, oversee field installations, and support system start-ups
- Inspire teams: Lead by example, motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals with a positive, results-driven attitude
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of structural systems including concrete and steel
- Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm
- Good writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Due to Federal Contract Requirements, US Citizenship is required
Pay
Compensation range: USD $90,000.00 – USD $180,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. Some positions may be performed remotely in one or more U.S. states.
