Responsibilities
As a valued member of our engineering team, you'll take on meaningful challenges impacting the safety, reliability, and performance of our clients' facilities. You'll support the analysis, design, and evaluation of critical structures and components while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate proposed modifications and prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications
- Communicate findings to project teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Collaborate across disciplines with professionals from various engineering fields
- Lead design initiatives, develop innovative design studies, and craft project scopes and estimates
- Tackle complex technical challenges with creative problem-solving strategies
- Participate in field operations, including site walkdowns, field installations, and system start-ups
- Inspire and motivate teams with a positive, results-driven attitude
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years of experience designing structural systems, including concrete and steel
- Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects, either directly or through an engineering/design consulting firm
- Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Due to Federal Contract Requirements, US Citizenship is required
Pay
Compensation range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
