About the role

Gemini Industries Inc. provides technical, management, and operations services to support National Security projects. We deliver rapid response to critical customer needs, perform analyses, develop operations plans, and provide advanced technology to improve mission success. The Journeyman Strategy and Engagement Analyst supports the Secretary of the Air Force, Office of Competition (SAF/OC) Mission Partner Capabilities Office (MPCO) by analyzing and coordinating DoD MPE enterprise requirements.

Outcomes

  • Formally track all tasks, including assignment details, deadlines, status, and comments through completion, and be prepared to brief upon request.
  • Develop digital continuity folders and files containing standard operating procedures, workflows, and point-of-contact lists to accomplish all tasks.
  • Create 2-3 products beyond client requirements that positively impact the client by increasing efficiency, effectiveness, or innovation.
  • Establish a foundation in AI/ML skills and contribute to AI/ML operationalization and modernization goals.
  • Master position tasks within 60 days and exceed requirements within 90 days.
  • Use government-provided Generative AI tools daily to accelerate tasks, research, documentation, analysis, planning, reporting, and problem-solving.
  • Recommend process improvements and practices that enhance quality, speed, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support Enterprise request intake and validation, requirements documentation coordination, and operational stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist the government in analyzing and coordinating DoD MPE enterprise requirements.
  • Support the MPCO Requirements Management and Strategic Planning Branch in evaluating and coordinating DoD MPE requirements to evolve and mature the MPCO’s MPE Requirements Management Process.
  • Perform research to support requirements analysis and translate operational requirements into functional and performance requirements.
  • Develop recommendations for prioritizing requirements, considering Joint Staff (JS) prioritizations and current MPCO guidance and technical implementations.
  • Assist in the analysis of the US BICES-X & MPCO Enterprise Requirements Management (RM) process.
  • Coordinate the collection of US BICES-X & MPCO Enterprise requirements and facilitate their prioritization, validation, and approval/disapproval process.
  • Develop documented processes and recommend process improvements as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of specific work-related experience supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) component.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning and developing and implementing strategic plans, initiatives, and programs aligned with DoD overarching goals.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders and staffing processes to build capabilities and requirements.
  • Knowledge of US defense policy, doctrine, and strategic priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to convey complex concepts, policies, and strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Operates as part of the Contractor’s Acquisition support team.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience as a Contracting Officer, Program Manager, or Contracting Officer Representative.
  • Business degree or related degree.
  • Strategic Planning certifications.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI tools and methods.
  • Experience with the Air Force and/or Intelligence Community.
  • Experience with Data Analysis methods and tools.
  • PMP certification.

Schedule

This is an onsite position located in Fort Washington, MD. Local travel and/or occasional long-distance travel may be required, less than 10%.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree (or an AA/AS plus an additional 6 years of work experience, 4 of which must be work-related).
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • This employer participates in E-Verify. Information from each new employee’s Form I-9 will be provided to the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to confirm work authorization.
