Responsibilities

  • Co-develop vision and strategy on quality and safety outcomes and formally represent AdventHealth services to internal and external parties.
  • Measure, analyze, and improve strategically selected outcomes, experience, and the cost of care.
  • Provide strategic support for the portfolio of Care Setting projects.
  • Maintain respectful relationships with all individuals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Evaluate and manage strategic plans, developing priorities, determining structure, and defining approaches for clinical quality and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to conduct analysis and develop key deliverables for governance and planning meetings.
  • Present strategic information, including analysis of existing initiatives and progress towards completion, to staff and operational leaders.
  • Identify and propose potential projects aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Analyze performance improvement data to identify quality concerns, practice patterns, and areas for process improvement.
  • Utilize knowledge of standards, survey methodology, and related tools to ensure regulatory and accreditation readiness.
  • Design, establish, and maintain organizational structure and staffing to accomplish goals and objectives; recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
  • Manage performance, coaching, discipline, engagement, and talent management of the team.
  • Manage recruitment, retention, training, scheduling, and competence of staff; coordinate education opportunities within the system and community.
  • Serve as a resource to the multi-disciplinary team, answering questions and clarifying guidelines; conduct routine section meetings and educational sessions.
  • Exercise independent decision-making to identify, plan, and execute goals; adapt to departmental changes and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships across multiple disciplines to achieve common goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business, IT, or Healthcare related discipline [Required]
  • 2+ years experience in a healthcare area and/or related area [Required]
  • 1+ year of experience in process improvement and project management [Preferred]
  • Experience in accreditation surveys such as Joint Commission or DNV [Preferred]
  • Experience interacting with Medical Staff, Senior Leadership, and clinical staff [Preferred]
  • Experience with Mind Genius, Visio, and other planning and presentation software [Preferred]

Skills

  • Expertise in healthcare systems and quality improvement processes [Required]
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, verbal, presentation, and communication skills; ability to portray and characterize complex information effectively [Required]
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to make decisions effectively and quickly [Required]
  • High energy, positive behavior, and the ability to provide superior customer service [Required]
  • Articulate communicator with effective interviewing and facilitation skills necessary to diplomatically guide multiple parties toward mutual strategic goals [Required]
  • Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) [Required]
  • Ability to lead and direct employees [Required]

Licenses and Certifications

  • Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) [Preferred]

Pay

$83,699.48 - $155,693.55

Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
