About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted and/or comprehensive business assessments and development of implementation strategies and plans for our clients to enhance their operations and efficiency.
- Complete tasks or elements in development of client strategic plans and decision-making processes directly tied to the successful achievement of overall organizational and functional area goals.
- Execute organizational development and management services for clients to achieve organizational excellence.
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement and communications plans including communication piece development.
- Facilitate in-person and/or virtual stakeholder workshops across a diverse array of project, program, or other engagement needs to elicit input, foster alignment, and achieve desired engagement outcomes.
- Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.
Requirements
- Experience typically a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a related role.
- Experience in analyzing organizational and business needs, organizational development, and change management.
- Typically certified in the SMS Framework, and progressing through the SMS competencies.
- Specifically, familiarity with Hawaii-specific water regulations, water policy frameworks, and permitting requirements.
- Ability to navigate significant uncertainty while supporting informed decision-making.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience working with public sector governance is an asset.
- Experience specifically related to water, wastewater, and/or stormwater sector in Hawaii.

- Change leadership and management, decision support theories and models, and monitoring.

- Workshop design and implementation skills both in-person and virtual.
- Communication piece development in a variety of mediums (written, audio, video) and content formats (text, graphics, photo, sound, and video).
- Facilitation and interview skills.
- Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
- Developing leadership skills with the capability to inspire and guide a team.
- Managing multi-disciplinary teams including subconsultants.
- Developing proficiency in governance and policy development.
