Strategic Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

The Strategic Accounts Receivable Specialist supports and coordinates activities for an AR portfolio over $8M USD, manages customer relationships, and resolves disputes. This role is hybrid, based in Andover, MA.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate AR portfolio activities
• Troubleshoot and assess impacts of significant issues
• Prepare topics for customer meetings and reviews
• Prioritize and resolve issues within 15 days
• Process credit card payments
• Review and analyze assigned collections territory
• Make judgment decisions on customer account status
• Maintain communication with sales, operations, and management
• Generate credit memos for financial disputes
• Manage collection notes and address proof of delivery claims
• Support team members and contribute to a collaborative environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years in Accounts Receivable or related accounting roles
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with multi-currency processing and SAP or large ERP systems
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Proactive and responsive customer service orientation
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
