Strategic Account Executive
About the role
The Strategic Account Executive will work in a small cross-functional pod alongside Solutions Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Growth & Customer Marketing to drive customer adoption and growth within the US market.
Responsibilities
- Manage highly complex technical sales cycles with 7-figure and 8-figure outcomes
- Negotiate contracts of +$1m and manage complex sales cycles with highly technical contacts in the US
- Work with usage based commercial models in a land and expand motion
- Engage at all levels across a global business with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborate with Prolific's Science, Services, Success, Marketing, Product, and Executive teams to drive meaningful growth
- Drive value for clients, promote adoption and usage, identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and retain and commit existing usage
- Develop strategic account plans and initiatives leading to consistent target attainment, pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and outstanding customer satisfaction
- Nurture US customer relationships at all levels of client teams, from end users to key business decision makers
- Align Prolific with US strategic customers, advocate for their needs, and manage complex cross-functional initiatives
Requirements
Consistent track record of managing highly complex technical sales cycles with 7-figure and 8-figure outcomes
Significant software sales experience with specific experience of successfully negotiating contracts of +$1m and managing complex sales cycles with highly technical contacts in the US
Experience working with usage based commercial models in a land and expand motion
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to engage at all levels across a global business
Exceptional collaborator, highly creative and resourceful
Thrives in a scale up environment, operating with experimental and growth principles in mind
Qualifications
Experience Selling to frontier AI labs and/or working with AI Researchers
Experience selling an AI product or solution
Skills
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and achieving high-value outcomes
