Strategic Account Executive

Kinective is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Strategic Account Executive to help fuel our next stage of growth. This is a true hunter role focused on net-new logo acquisition in the bank and credit union space—where performance is rewarded through an aggressive commission structure.

Requirements
- Own new customer acquisition for banks and credit unions through proactive prospecting and strategic outbound efforts
- Build and execute territory/target account plans to generate pipeline and close business
- Engage and influence executive stakeholders through discovery, solution alignment, negotiation, and close
- Full-Cycle Deal Ownership (Long, Complex Sales Cycles)
- Run end-to-end sales cycles with strong process discipline: qualification, discovery, stakeholder mapping, business case, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline with consistent forecasting and next-step clarity
- Navigate complexity with professionalism, persistence, and strategic follow-through
- Partnership-Enabled Growth
- Collaborate with Partnerships to convert strategic partner referrals and inbound opportunities into closed business
- Expand relationships and uncover additional growth opportunities through partner ecosystems
- Pipeline Generation & Market Presence
- Execute targeted prospecting across calls, email, personalized outreach, and executive-level follow-up
- Attend conferences and industry events to build relationships, generate leads, and expand market awareness
- Use research and refined messaging to improve conversion rates and outreach effectiveness
- Marketing Collaboration & Deal Support
- Partner with Marketing to support campaigns that generate qualified leads and increase market visibility
- Contribute to sales assets: compelling decks, messaging, and collateral that strengthen win rates
- Build your own path to success by combining outbound execution with effective internal collaboration
Qualifications & Competencies
- 7+ years in a Sales Account Executive (or similar) role
- 5+ years in an outbound, quota-carrying sales role
- SaaS Sales experience, selling to C-Suite executives of Large Financial Institutions (banks and credit unions)
- Proven history of exceeding sales targets with the ability to clearly articulate wins
- Strong executive presence, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with ownership of KPIs, pipeline hygiene, and follow-through
- Proficiency with modern sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, Jolt-style selling) and consultative positioning
- Comfortable engaging in regional and national business development activities
- Confident resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-change environments
- Strong team orientation — competitive, but collaborative
Pay, Benefits & Total Rewards
$100,000 base salary + uncapped commissions & accelerators (Expected OTE: $250k - $300k)
The salary range listed reflects the minimum and maximum for this role. Individual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, job-related skills, location, and internal equity, and most offers are not made at the top of the range.
