About SOEUR

SOEUR was founded in Paris in 2008 by two sisters, Domitille and Angélique Brion — Domitille as creative director, Angélique leading the business. What started as a single store on rue Bonaparte has grown into one of France's most beloved ready-to-wear brands: a timeless Parisian wardrobe designed for women of all generations, built on beautiful materials, effortless silhouettes, and clothes made to last. Today, SOEUR counts boutiques across France and Europe along with corners in the world's finest department stores. This fall, we're writing our next chapter: our first store in the United States, opening in New York in October 2026.

About the Role

As Store Manager, you are SOEUR's ambassador in New York. You'll open the store, build the team, and create the kind of warm, personal client experience the brand is known for. You'll report to our Regional Manager and work closely with our Paris head office.

Responsibilities

  • Own store revenue: analyze KPIs, build action plans, and deliver sales targets
  • Plan and run in-store events and clienteling initiatives to build a loyal New York client base
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience and service and act as the ultimate SOEUR product expert
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and coach your Assistant Manager and Sales Associates
  • Create staff schedules, manage payroll hours, and ensure full compliance with NY labor law
  • Set goals, give feedback, and create a culture people want to work in
  • Execute Paris visual merchandising guidelines to keep windows and displays perfect
  • Manage deliveries, inventory, transfers, and shrinkage prevention
  • Oversee all cash handling and opening/closing procedures

Requirements

  • 5+ years of retail experience, including 2+ years managing a store team (fashion, premium, or luxury preferred)
  • A track record of hitting sales targets and developing people
  • Genuine passion for product, styling, and client relationships
  • Comfort operating autonomously — you'll be our first employee in the US
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • French language skills are a plus, not a requirement

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ($100,000 – $120,000) + bonus
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance (full-time employees only)
  • 401K
  • Paid Time Off
  • Clothing allowance
  • Employee discount
  • 40-hour contractual work week, supervisor status
  • Direct line to Paris leadership and real influence on American strategy
  • The rare opportunity to launch a beloved European brand in the US market
