Role Overview

The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations, focusing on employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This role involves assisting with recruitment, store presentation, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in staffing, recruiting, and training employees.
• Participate in merchandising, stocking, and store presentation.
• Support inventory management, including damages, markdowns, and inventory counts.
• Follow ordering procedures to meet stock levels.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a role model for store policies.
• Help oversee store opening and closing activities, secure funds, and ensure safety.
• Review sales and operational reports to identify trends and opportunities.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to read and interpret operational documents and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory, and merchandising practices.
• Understanding of safety, security, and store policies.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to various situations.
• Preferred bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish).

Experience & Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail experience is advantageous.

Physical & Working Conditions

Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, occasional climbing, and driving. Fast-paced environment with moderate noise and exposure to weather conditions.
