Store Manager Candidate - Age 21+

Role Overview: The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting in employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This role is designed to develop external candidates for future Store Manager positions. Key Responsibilities Assist in recruiting, staffing, and training employees.Participate in merchandising, stocking, and store presentation.Manage inventory, including damages, markdowns, and stock levels.Ensure in-stock targets through proper ordering practices.Lead customer service initiatives and uphold company policies.Support store opening/closing activities and secure funds.Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and security standards.Operate store functions in the absence of the Store Manager.Analyze sales, labor, and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities.Complete required documentation accurately and on time. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents, perform math calculations, and handle cash procedures.Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, safety, and security practices.Effective communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Preferred bilingual skills (Spanish).High school diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred. Physical & Working Conditions: Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Occasional use of ladders, driving, and exposure to weather conditions. Fast-paced environment with moderate noise.
