About the role

As a Store Manager at Sally Beauty, you will lead a team in the largest hair and beauty supplier worldwide, driving our mission to empower customers through self-expression. You’ll manage talent, inspire your team, and ensure every customer receives an unforgettable experience with custom-fit solutions for their hair and beauty needs.

You will oversee all store operations, including meeting or exceeding sales goals, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory. Your role includes ensuring safety and security compliance, maintaining store appearance, and developing your team to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Manage store operations, including budgeting, expense control, and inventory management.
• Ensure the store meets or exceeds sales goals.
• Maintain store appearance and compliance with safety and security procedures.
• Protect customers, associates, and store assets by enforcing company policies.
• Develop and coach team members to drive performance and growth.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
• 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Cosmetology license is a plus but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.

Working Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Exposure to fumes and odors on occasion.
• Physical exertion including long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Working around moving parts, carts, or machines; occasional exposure to irritant chemicals.
