About the role
As a Delivery Expert, you are the mechanism for delivering fast and delectably delicious pizzas to our hungry customers. Enthusiastic customer communication, a positive personality, punctuality, and a sense of urgency are essential. You’ll represent the brand, so maintaining a professional appearance in accordance with Domino’s and Team Dynamic image standards is required.
Responsibilities
- Navigate diverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
- Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, and meet strict quality control standards.
- Take inventory, stock ingredients, and complete associated paperwork.
- Receive and process telephone orders efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
- Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and make correct monetary change.
- Utilize a computer keyboard, touch screen, and foot-paddle.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and one year of driving history.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Motor Vehicle Record Check (meeting company-specific standards).
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Physical Requirements
- Daily tasks are performed from a standing position, with the majority of the shift spent on your feet.
- Walking surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum in food processing areas.
- Work surfaces range in height from 36" to 4".
- Unload bulk product deliveries (2–3 times per week), with ingredients/supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally crouch, squat, stoop, bend, or use stairs.
- Hand-eye coordination required for shaping dough, maneuvering pizza peel/cutter, and folding boxes.
