JOB SUMMARY
The Stockroom Lead is responsible for the prioritization of the kitting process for production. They will print, sort, create packets, and labels. They will work closely with both planning and production teams to support constant flow of material to the manufacturing lines.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
- Promote cooperation and positive communication with coworkers
- Must be willing to act as a mentor to assigned team members in the growth and development of each of them professionally
- Must promote teamwork to seek established targets in the way of company KPI metrics
- Resolve problems that arise in the normal course of the work
- Ensure that stockroom standard practices and procedures are followed
- Be flexible to work extra hours as needed
- Provide excellent service to the Production Floor to provide what they need in achieving their everyday goal
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics code
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills
- May act as a functional lead over other stress engineers on one or more projects
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent years of relative experience or proven mechanical aptitude may be considered in lieu of a diploma or GED
- Experience: 2+ years of experience
- Skills: Experience working in a team, Material Handling, Issuing components to workorders/jobs, Scrapping
- Preferred Skills/Experience: Position to be filled with experienced candidates, SYSPRO knowledge is desired
- Other: Must be authorized to work in the United States. Extended or irregular hours may be required.
