Stockroom Coordinator (Crew C) Caldwell, ID

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate receiving documentation, inventory filed, and records.
• Ensures materials received are reconciled with packing slips and purchase orders and moved to the appropriate storage area.
• Ensures materials issued are posted to inventory records.
• Ensures the shipment of outbound goods is handled according to Simplot’s policies and procedures.
• Ensures inventories are maintained at desired levels by conducting regular audits, reconciling stock variances, forecasting demand, setting reorder points, and collaborating effectively with suppliers.
• Interfaces directly with vendors to incorporate all aspects of inventory needs, deliveries, and shipping.
• Maintains an organized stockroom, ensuring items are easily accessible and rotated.
• Maintains communication (oral and written) to vendors and other plant personnel is appropriate, accurate, timely, and courteous.
• Maintains attendance and participation in training activities appropriate to the position and to incorporate acquired skills and knowledge.
• Ensures no injuries to self or others by following safe work practices and policies.
• Ensures self-compliance with Company policies and procedures.
• Looks for ways to remove unnecessary costs to the business.
• Ensures excellent customer service by focusing on understanding customer needs, offering quality products/services, personalizing interactions, and actively seeking and acting on feedback.

Requirements

• Typical Education: Highschool diploma or GED
• Relevant Experience:
  • Familiar with or capable of learning the JDE system.
  • Advanced computer literacy across MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).
  • Ability to pass written and practical application for forklift certification.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs repetitively.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Customer service background.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work around and consume soy, wheat, and dairy.
