Stockroom Coordinator

The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking a part‑time Stockroom Coordinator to support day‑to‑day operations of the WPAOG Gift Shop. Reporting to the Director of Retail Operations, the role ensures seamless retail operations, accurate inventory management, and exceptional customer service across both in‑store and Web Store channels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate merchandise flow and maintain organized stockroom environments for the Web Store fulfillment team.
• Provide clear direction, resources, and information to stockroom associates for receiving, processing, and fulfillment tasks.
• Assist with pre‑order organization, monitor product movement, and support preparation and delivery timelines for reunions and events.
• Stage, track, and ready merchandise for distribution during high‑volume periods.
• Work with internal teams and external vendors on product lifecycle activities from receipt through fulfillment.
• Handle customer and vendor communications related to orders, returns, and inquiries.
• Support major events (reunions, football games, graduation, special programs) by preparing merchandise for off‑site sales, coordinating shipments, and assisting with on‑site execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Approximately 2–5 years of experience in retail, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or a related field.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, move merchandise, and work on ladders.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Customer‑focused and adaptable with occasional customer‑facing interactions.
• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale systems, inventory tools, and shipping platforms (UPS, USPS, FedEx) preferred.

Pay

Approximately $21–$23 per hour, based on skills and experience.

Schedule

• Part‑time, 29 hours per week.
• Flexibility required for weekends, evenings, and major events.
• Hours may increase during peak seasons such as reunions and holidays.
