Versant Health provides vision care to 37 million members nationwide. To ensure your continued success we provide opportunities for advancement and development. The purpose of this position is to order lenses and frames from manufacturer to fulfill work orders and maintain inventory.

Responsibilities

• Receives work orders from mapping for lenses that are not in stock
• Places short-orders and bulk orders of lenses and frames with manufacturer/DC
• Sends frame patterns/tags to providers as needed
• Conducts daily lens and frame cycle counts
• Generates lens and frame inventory reports
• Fills picking shelves with frames and lenses
• Returns defective lenses and frames to manufacturers and confirms credit is issued
• May coach and mentor other associates as needed
• Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment and workstation
• Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), prescribed safety and hazardous materials handling procedures, and Federal/State laws regulating hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read work order/ticket
• Minimum 1 year of related manufacturing experience preferred

Skills

• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Knowledge of lenses preferred
• Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions

Pay

Hourly Rate: $20.60
