About the role

As a Stockroom Clerk, you’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the stockroom area. You will oversee overall operations and processes, and coordinate efforts between all departments. Accuracy and meeting strict deadlines are of high urgency.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming receiving inspections in accordance with Quality procedures.
• Receive parts and material into applicable inventories.
• Issue parts and materials to work orders per reservations or requests, and issue parts to sales orders.
• Process incoming and outgoing piece parts per the applicable DWI’s (Detailed Work Instruction).
• Operate the forklift to receive deliveries or send shipments.
• Process rework parts.
• Complete inventory audits and investigate discrepancies. Submit audits to the supervisor for approval.
• Perform general administrative tasks and duties to ensure department efficiencies.
• Maintain housekeeping in all responsible areas to keep them clean and tidy.
• Develop and manage Continuous Improvement initiatives in your assigned area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong problem solving, reasoning, and decision-making skills in a team environment.
• High attention to detail with good computer skills.
