About the role

This position focuses on managing Troop inventory, processing supply requests, and maintaining accurate records for equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Monitor supply levels, review requests, and distribute clothing, equipment, and office items
• Vendor Coordination: Secure bidders, inspect received goods, and make authorized purchases
• Purchase Tracking: Monitor purchase orders, maintain purchasing card records, and communicate with vendors
• Equipment Records: Maintain accurate files for uniforms, firearms, badges, and other issued items
• Property Inspection: Conduct inventory inspections, update tracking reports, and dispose of unserviceable items
• Supply Transport: Load, unload, and deliver supplies to Troop and Department Headquarter locations as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of experience in stores control work, including one year of experience with responsibility for the operation of a small storeroom; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a high school or vocational school; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Additional Requirement: You must possess a current driver's license which is not under suspension.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements

• You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Pay

In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
